Barbara Thorp is the program director of the One Fund Center at Massachusetts General Hospital. The One Fund Center was established in October, 2014 with a grant from One Fund Boston to provide on-going supportive services to those who were injured at the Marathon Bombing as well as family members of the injured and those families who lost loved ones.

Barbara received her B.A. in Child Development from Simmons College and her MSW from Rutgers University School of Social Work. Prior to her work with the One Fund Center Barbara was employed by the Archdiocese of Boston for thirty-five years where she directed the outreach to the survivors of clergy sexual abuse. She has three adult children and three grand-daughters ages 2, 8 and 11.
