Dr Ellen Braaten provides insight on a really difficult topic in this compelling news story that follows a mom, Emily, who lost her daughter to suicide, and has had to grapple with many questions, and few answers.

How is suicide different in young people, what are some of the risk factors, and what can we do to try and prevent it? ‘I Am Strong,’ a foundation started by Emily shortly after losing her daughter, aims to increase conversations about the issue and provide supportive messages to teens in psychiatric facilities who are trying to get better.
